How Contented Puppies began

A family business with deep roots.

Contented Puppies Paradise first grew on the outskirts of Dade City, Florida, where puppies were part of everyday family life. In 2015, Judy moved the Pennsylvania side of the program to McClure.

The business remains family operated, with hands-on care at the center of raising puppies and helping families prepare for homecoming.

Daily care and preparation

Raised for life as a loved companion.

Adult dogs receive regular veterinary care. Puppies are handled, played with, and cared for every day so they can grow into confident companions ready for family life.

Contented Puppies follows the applicable Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture requirements. Puppies are vaccinated, vet-checked, and provided with a health certificate.

Companions first

Small puppies are never a marketing gimmick.

Contented Puppies may occasionally have a naturally smaller Yorkie or Maltese, but does not deliberately breed for “teacup” size. Very tiny dogs can face serious health risks.
